“…Not that anything has changed after twenty-five years of research into Greek cartoons, nor has the introduction I wrote then for the History of the Political Cartoon in Greece lost its freshness. From the publication of the first volume to the present day, the only thing that has changed is the revision of some poor assessments that I had made, the addition of some new data and the enrichment of the collection with new, unknown cartoons and periodicals of the 19th century.

As “Volume One”, the edition of 1975 continues to be the only source of information about the early period of the modern Greek cartoon. […]
