Vafeiadis, Georgios (Chios 1832 – Constantinople 25 Dec. 1890/6 Jan. 1891) Journalist and teacher, whose family was from Crete. He completed his general studies starting in his birthplace, then in Smyrna under the auspices of his uncle Stephanos Vasileiadis, and later in Athens.
